  • Martial Arts instructor at Johnson and Wales University, RI College, and Roger Williams University, as well as YMCA’s and Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs in Providence and the metro area

  • Began training with George Pesare at age 13 (1966)
  • Promoted to 1st degree black belt by George Pesare (1969)

1970′s

  • 2-Time New England Grand Champion
  • US National Championship Team Member, winning the prestigious Eagle Cup  (1973)
  • #1 New England Fighter and Top 10 East Coast Regional Fighter as Ranked by “Professional Karate,” “Black Belt Magazine,” and “Karate Illustrated”
  • Appeared in the first edition of “Who’s Who in the Martial Arts and Directory of Black Belts,” which also included Martial Arts greats Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris

  • Ranked one of the Top 10 Fighters in the U.S. by “Professional Karate”

1990′s

  • Received RI Senate Citation in recognition of outstanding job as a trainer for Chris Baxter
  • Became President of the North American Muay Thai Association
  • Trained Ed Bavelock, US Muay Thai Light Heavyweight Champion
  • Received a Citizen Citation from Mayor Vincent “Buddy” Cianci “For bringing International Muay Thai World Title Event to the City of Providence which opens its arms to the art and discipline of Muay Thai.”

2000′s

  • Promoted to 8th Dan from Grandmaster Victor “Sonny” GasconDennis Passaretti and Victor "Sonny" Gascon
  • Provides private instruction for individuals
  • Provides advanced training for Air Marshals, Corrections Officers, Police and State Trooper application preparation
